Our Team
In Australia, osteopaths are government registered practitioners who complete a minimum of five years university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general musculoskeletal medical diagnosis and osteopathic techniques.
Osteopaths are primary healthcare practitioners and are trained to recognise conditions that may require medical referral.
The Director of the practice, Dr Nadia Macri, has over twenty-five years of clinical experience and, all up, the current complement of practitioners has more than seventy years of clinical experience between them and all our osteopaths are registered with AHPRA.

Dr Ingrid Garvie
Associate
B.H.Sc.(Osteo). M.H.Sc.(Osteo) OSTEOPATH.
Level 1 Myofascial Dry Needling & Cupping.
Member of Osteopathy Australia.
Ingrid completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Osteopathy from Victoria University in 2021. During her studies, she completed placements at several community clinics providing osteopathy services to those suffering with mental illness, poverty, and social and cultural isolation. Additionally, she completed an internship where she gained valuable hands-on experience in a busy, well-established clinic.
Since then, Ingrid has practiced at a multidisciplinary sports-based clinic working closely alongside a team of health professionals: physiotherapists, podiatrists, chiropractors and more. This gave her experience with a wide range of patients from the social competitor to the elite athlete. Furthermore, she completed additional training in dry needling, cupping and taping therapies. Ingrid knows that everyone is deserving of good quality health care and understands first-hand that everyone deals with pain differently.
To achieve a successful outcome, she listens to individuals needs, understands those needs, and works collaboratively. Her goal is to empower each patient to take an active role in their care and provides them with the skills to do so. She believes non-hands-on skills are most important when it comes to personalizing treatment and management plans, while establishing a relationship with each patient.
Whenever Ingrid isn’t in the clinic, you can find her on the tennis court, out for a run, or catching a wave. She’s a foodie at heart, so you’ll always find her at the trendiest new café.
Ingrid’s hours are:
Monday – 9:00am to 6:00pm
Tuesday – 9:00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday – 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Friday – 9:00am to 6:00pm

As a Clinical Pilates instructor, Katrina loves to teach her patients postural awareness and exercise strategies to enhance their understanding of how the body interacts with general health and wellbeing. She is interested in all types of ailments, ranging from workplace ergonomics, pre- and postnatal conditions, headaches, to weekend warrior woes.
Katrina finds solutions that are specific to her patients’ needs, using techniques that are appropriate for their injury and circumstances. She has had additional training in dry needling, cupping, taping and of course, Pilates.
She enjoys empowering patients to proactively manage their health so that they continue to benefit from the consultation. When Katrina isn’t in the clinic, she is chasing after her two young children, wrangling the overgrown garden into order, and planning the family’s next outdoor adventures.
